Banksy
Probably the most over used term in art.
Or the most well known thug.
Some people have very fixed views on art and where it belongs and where it starts. To see are you must believe it dream it and smell it, in a nutshell is that view. Before boredom strikes art wouldn’t ever be the topic of this text. if anything it will be the last thing I want to talk about. Different people have very different views on art to each other and if they spend to much time in the same room they begin to fight (verbally.).I am no art critic or Cambridge undergraduate. (But I do know the different of good and bad art.)
Rappers are artist, poets’ and songwriters then again I am just a fourteen year old. their is a rappers called makelomore.he has lived his whole life in Seattle. a city on the other side of the globe. “Artist’s were not good cause the cause they could paint at birth but because they could paint a lot.” This is from a song he calls thousand hours. This was a celebration of how many songs he’s recorded because the about of minutes of music he has recorded in music have added up to ten thousands hours. Apart from the lack in gamma this American has portray as story to someone all the way on the other side of the globe.
He hasn’t told a life story or shown anyone a picture he has just said what’s on his mind.
Now lets talk about that thug called banksy. all people like banksy do is write what’s on their minds on walls. this is called graffiti by the government. I get the train to school every day and I see a lot of writing on walls most of it is what they write is garbage because it is unreadable. The other day I saw a picture of a massive tombstone. I thought “stupid kids shouldn’t even been playing on the train line any way.”this is really harsh as someone did die their and their mates had just made a shrine.
I noticed I thought playing; the were still thugs in my mind but they were still people.
Bansy has made an decision, probably before he was to old to even make that decision unlike most of the other street artist around when he started.
There is a very well known clothing brand called OBEY even Obama is a fan as the artist that designed his hope poster of the 2012 elections, he happens to own that company he also has admitted to drawing on walls the same guy also owns places that street are randomly appears next too.(a bit mysterious.)I guess?
Banksy has made a return to our news papers as for the first time he has sold a painting he has done on a wall. This has sold of more that any alive artist picture as ever sold for. He is so anonymous he can probably can hide in broad daylight. Yet what he has done has sparked movement. A hideous one, yet still fresh.
I don’t agree with most of his views, as nowadays the main figures in his posters are policemen. But every so often banksy does a picture on the political climate. These generally get wiped of the wall even quicker than the police ones. This probably has something to do with drawing on walls.
This is again something we as humans call art. we only let this happen because it still shows a opinion we may not agree with it but won’t forget it. Kids don’t understand what a artist is they think they can just paint and someone will catch them and turn them into millionaires. Macklemore an experienced member of society has a view on would expects from a loud mouthed rapper,” we live on the cusp of death thinking it would be us. this is macklemore talking about how he used to smoke before he new it was bad for him. I didn’t quote him because I like rap more than any other form of art but because rap is better to show an opinion on something.
As time goes on humans learn more about each other and accepts our differences. A lesson that banksy never had the chance to learn.(or learn yet).
The stupid thing about banksy is the only thing he argues aghast the government he or she has only argued with the people that let him go every time. it’s like a kid laughing but knows no one is laughing with him. not any more even if there was one.
